Brendon Cunningham
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and practitioner in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), my approach to therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices. I firmly believe in tailoring treatment to individual needs and circumstances. As such, I draw upon diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution- focused brief therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and EMDR.
While I am experienced in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, my specializations include trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, PTSD,
and relationship difficulties. I understand the nuances of these challenges and work closely with my clients to develop personalized treatment plans that foster growth and wellbeing.
I acquired valuable clinical experience at several notable institutions, including Neurofeedback Therapeutic Solutions,
the Emergency Services Department within a Community Services Board, and Youth For Tomorrow - a residential treatment facility.
Beyond my professional life, I have two adult daughters and celebrate 25 years of marriage. In my free time, I play wheelchair rugby, watch movies, and hang out with Max, our Goldendoodle.
